About Me
I’m a bass player. I play in two bands, Funny Money and KIX. Funny Money is my main project with my bestest longtime friend of 25 years Rob Galpin along with Steve Whiteman and Jimmy Chalfant. I’m a songwriter and am currently attending Berklee College of Music in the Masters program. I engineer and produce songs for other artists as well. I have a nicely equipped home studio with lots of nice amplifiers, mics and Pro Tools|HD3 on Windows. (No offense, just not a Mac guy!) I’m currently producing former Funny Money guitar player Dean Cramer’s new CD.
I’m a gear nut and I am always looking for a new and interesting peice of gear that is fun to use - toys I guess is a better word than gear. I’m pretty active on eBay and buy/sell lots of gear just to try something out.
I’m currently endorsed by Warwick Basses, DR Strings which make the finest strings on the planet, Morley Pedals and Tech 21. I use Trace Elliot amps and I really love a lot of the Ashdown gear. I have an old Bass Magnifier preamp that sounds amazing and their bass pedals are top notch. I currently use the distortion pedal in my rig and it’s the best bass distortion I’ve ever tried.
